Boroondara City Council is preparing a Neighbourhood Character Study to guide how development occurs in the City's residential areas. In early 2012 the municipality was divided into precincts based on common characteristics. A draft Neighbourhood Character Precinct Profile was prepared for each precinct which describes the area and includes a list of the precinct's key characteristics.

Consultation on the draft Precinct Profiles is now complete.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. Your comments will inform changes to the Profiles prior to the preparation of Design Guidelines. These Design Guidelines will be available for public comment later in 2012.
